Owwl2go FAQs

E-book and audiobook borrowing

Your OWWL library card gives you access to a wide variety of e-book and audiobook titles! Libraries are now resuming services to their communities so the check-out and holds limits have been reset to their normal levels.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the total number of e-books and audiobooks that I can now check out at one time?
You may check out up to eight (8) titles at a time.

What is the total number of holds that I can now have at one time?
A limit of four (4) applies to holds.

I have a hold ready for pickup but I cannot check it out because I reached the limit for checkouts. What can I do?
If you are already at the maximum number of checkouts, you will need to return an item that you currently have checked out in order to check out another title.

How can I return e-books and audiobooks before they are due?

You can always return early. As soon as you return an item you can check out a new one. For information on returning e-books and audiobooks early, please visit the Overdrive help page:

I am not seeing new issues of magazine titles. Why?

Due to state budget cuts to the libraries we have, unfortunately, needed to suspend our OverDrive Magazine subscription indefinitely. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
