How to get started with Little Pim, a language learning app for kids (ages 0–6)
Introducing Little Pim, a new way for kids ages 0–6 to have fun while learning a new language! Little Pim is available free to all OWWL cardholders through Mango Languages.
To get started, choose from 12 languages:
- Arabic
- Chinese (Mandarin)
- English (ESL)
- French
- German
- Hebrew
- Italian
- Japanese
- Korean
- Portuguese
- Russian
- Spanish
A series of short, engaging videos voiced by native speakers will help kids learn a new language. The videos are five minutes long, making them perfect for holding young children’s attention. Episodes cover themes including colors, counting, feelings, food, playtime, and shapes.
How to get started
1. Create a Mango Languages account or log in using an existing one
To access Little Pim, you first need a Mango Languages account linked to your OWWL library card.
New to Mango? Go to the link below and follow the prompts to create a free account using your OWWL library card number.

Already have an account? All you need to do is log in at connect.mangolanguages.com/owwl/start.
2. Access Little Pim through Mango Languages
Little Pim is part of Mango Languages. Follow the directions below to get started in the Mango Languages app or from a web browser.
From the Mango Languages app
Download the free Mango Languages app for iOS or Android. The app lets kids learn on the go.
Once you have signed into the Mango Languages app with your account, select one of the 12 languages you would like to explore with Little Pim.
Then, tap Explore in the menu bar at the bottom of the screen, and select Little Pim.
Tip: Resume a recently selected language or start a new one by tapping the plus sign in the top left corner of the app.
From a web browser
Once you have signed into the Mango Languages website with your account, select one of the 12 languages you would like to explore with Little Pim.
Then, navigate to Explore in the top navigation bar and click Little Pim in the left sidebar.

3. Choose your language and start watching
Pick from the 12 available languages and select an episode to watch. Little Pim videos run about five minutes each and are organized by theme, so kids can return to their favorites anytime.
Little Pim features two age tracks within each language: one designed for children ages 0–2, and one for ages 3–6.
4. Have fun with Little Pim!
Kids can explore and learn a new language with Little Pim through the Mango website or app. The short videos offer an immersive experience so kids can begin their language-learning journey on their own.
Accessing Little Pim on the Mango app also lets kids learn on the go from any device.
